On 3/9/17 the NFL Free Agency period began. The day before, media and news outlets reported that Tony Romo would be released on the first day of free agency. As the day came and was halfway through, we learned that Romo was not being released. Conflicting reports came out that Dallas was actually trying to trade Tony instead. This whirlwind of news really was shocking to see. Credible sources here in Dallas and around the nation received either wrong news, or jumped quickly on some news from a “source”. How can a player go from being released to being traded with such a debacle? To be honest, I haven’t seen a mishap happen like this in the NFL. I’m not saying it is horrible or outlandish. I’m just wondering how the media could’ve had got this so wrong. Well, below is Tony’s farewell to Dallas fans, and as a Romo supporter I do wish him well. What do y’all think of this situation?
