With the regular season weeks away, we decided to look at the top 3 games of the upcoming season. Check out our opinions and please share your own.
- Sunday, October 16th at Green Bay – This is a rematch of the NFC Divisional game where the so called Dez catch never happened. The rule for Cowboys fans is wrong, and the rule for Packers fan is that it was right. Aaron Rodgers should have a full arsenal of weapons, and Tony Romo should have the same. The difference in this matchup (barring any injuries) will be the defense). One thing that will help Dallas is the mid day start and a mid October game. We all know Green Bay in December is cooooold.
- Sunday, November 13th at Pittsburgh – We aren’t sure how the weather will be for this match up, but expect a shoot out. Big Ben vs Romo, Le’veon vs Zeke, Antonio vs Dez, you couldn’t ask for a better offensive centerpiece. It’s most likely the Steelers come away with the win, but it might not be as easy as they think.
- Thursday, December 1st at Minnesota – Ironically all 3 games we feel are important are away games. This game against Minnesota will be against our former defensive coordinator, Mike Zimmer. What the Vikings have created is a ball control offense, and a very stout defense. It will be important for the Cowboys to gauge themselves against a team that was 1 point away from upsetting the two time NFC champion Seahawks.
