The Star in Frisco has some awesome events to finish out the month of October. For those of you who are looking to find something different to do in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, you should definitely check out one of these out. I’ve decided to omit the High School football games from my events list below.
The Spirit Walk
What is it: So this looks like something different for sure. The Spirit Walk is an adults-only night of tricks, treats and terrors at The Star, Frisco on Thursday, October 25th from 6-8 p.m. From what I could find out, they will have food and drinks for you to try out from select restaurants in the area. Those restaurants include: Tri Tip Grill, Mi Cocina, Sushi Marquee, Concrete Cowboy, Da Mario, Cane Rosso, and many more! Also you will have a chance to go on a selfie scavenger hunt, take pictures in a hidden photo booth, and have a chance to win a grand prize. There are maps that I will link you to for preferred arrival routes. You will have to purchase tickets for this event. Tickets from what I can tell range between $25-$30. Purchase Tickets
The Star Car Show
What is it: Whose down to see some classics and grab some treats? See some of the most popular antique and classic muscle cars throughout the decades on Saturday, October 27th from 10am – 2pm. Various cars will be on site throughout The Star District, along with a “Trunk or Treat” for the kids! Costumes are encouraged. This looks more like a family event with admission and parking for free. Once again they have preferred arrival routes. I’m really excited to see what costumes the little ones have this year, and the whole “Trunk or Treat” concept seems very cool. More Information
Movie Night at The Star
What is it: It’s freaking movie night! Actually this is a very cool thing they do at The Star. You literally pull out the lawn chairs and watch a movie on the big screen outside. What is going to be really cool for the kids and dads is the fact that Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott are going to be special guests! This along with the Miller Lite Cowboys Hour with Brad Sham, a chance to win some Ray Bans, and an opportunity to take a picture with Rowdy and the Cheerleaders makes this a big time event. Movie Night at The Star is presented by Essilor for a showing of Coco! Activities begin on Tostitos Championship Plaza at 4 p.m. The movie will begin at 7 p.m. Admission & parking are free!
