Is This Our Year?

The Texas Rangers are closing in on the AL West Pennant. By the time this article releases they could have it in the bag. Over the past 10 years the Rangers have had probably there most successful run in franchise history. The one thing that has been missing is the elusive World Series championship. We all remember back a few years ago where the unimaginable happened and Texas couldn’t get one out vs the Cardinals. Well, this season has been very remarkable with not only the injuries Texas has faced, but the unity in the locker room and team cohesion. Elvis Andrus, Cole Hamels, Adrian Beltre, along with newcomers Beltran and Lucroy have built strong chemistry. The losses of Fielder and Hamilton are not even felt, and this is one of the reasons why we believe the team is going to be making a deep run. A concern is our pitching but the way this team has rallied together is very interesting. Let’s hope the team gets far and we get that first ring. What is unique is that the Rangers are the second oldest pro sports franchise in DFW, and they are the only one without a ring.
