Today we recap a wild weekend and past week in Dallas sports. Lets get started:
Dallas Cowboys: The team was fairly quiet the past week. They did have their regular season schedule released by the NFL on Thursday. Dallas has 5 night games and open up the season in Texas against the New York Giants. We will have more on the team schedule this week, especially an early season prediction on how the team will do this season.
Texas Rangers: Beltre received an extension, and the team beat the Orioles on Saturday night. The Rangers are leading the division by a game in a very tight AL West. Their is still a lot of baseball left to play, so we will see where we stand here in the next few months. Oh, and Mazara is looking like a beast!
Dallas Mavericks: This one is not too fun to write about. The Mavericks were blown out in their game against the OKC Thunder on Saturday night. Dallas almost had its worst playoff lost in franchise history. Nothing was falling in regards to shots, and the team did have several good looks. In addition, JJ Barea is out for the series now with an injury. Dirk will have to shoulder even more, but I believe Dallas could make the Thunder work a little bit. Let’s see what adjustments Carlisle makes for game two which is tonight.
Dallas Stars: Tyler Seguin is back! Dallas received great news in Seguin’s return and won on Saturday night. The series is now 2-0 going back to Minnesota. Hopefully the Stars can pull out a sweep and give Tyler some rest. Jamie Benn has a goal in each game in this series and has played solid. Go Stars!
