Dallas Cowboys Studio

This week a new addition at The Star in Frisco opened up. It is called Dallas Cowboys Studio and is a new retail concept driven by Charlotte Jones Anderson. For those of you who do not know who she is, Mrs. Jones Anderson is the daughter of Jerry Jones the team owner.

Please note, the images provided for the Dallas Cowboys Studio are from shop.dallascowboys.com to review the product on my site. All opinions in this post are my own. The Dallas Cowboys Studio is not only a boutique store. It offers a unique curated experience. And it is also part of the WIN (Women Impact Now) initiative started by Mrs. Jones Anderson. When it comes to styles, the studio will have different items monthly from a variety of different designers. I for one am very excited about the fact that someone has finally targeted our female football fans. Not only has there been a void in fashion forward concepts, it seems as if the big brands have forgotten a huge segment of the population. Jones Anderson actually brought up a good point in stating that 46% of the Dallas Cowboys fan base is female. My belief is that if you target that fan base correctly, not only does it give you brand recognition but also could create an opportunity to tap into bigger retail spaces.

Above are some products that caught my attention and I felt were something I would buy for my wife. The first item is a football mom sweater. The one thing that stood out to me about this sweater is that even though it is in team colors, it isn’t overbearing. You can ACTUALLY wear this item almost everywhere. The Studio does have items that will scream Dallas Cowboys, but they do a great job in not making it too overbearing. The second item is geared more towards what I just stated. This navy ruffle dress is an awesome item to wear out. But what is great is that it isn’t limited to just game day. I’ve shared a few other products so you can get an idea of the range that the Studio will have. Jones Anderson in my opinion has hit a home run in doing this. Of course you will have your team implied or team branded items as well. What is refreshing is that this segment finally has someone paving the way for new and exciting opportunities.

Finally, in regards to location, you can find these awesome items inside the Fans United store in Frisco or online. Also, the team is planning on opening a second location at AT&T Stadium on September 16th. The new store will be about 400 square feet and will feature collections from other big brands that include Vinyard Vines, Victoria’s Secret, and Unfortunate Portrait.
