Dallas Cowboys 2015 Preseason Schedule

Today the Dallas Cowboys preseason schedule was released. The dates are not locked in but should be shortly. Let’s take a look at the schedule and match ups.

Game 1: San Diego Chargers (Away) – The game is during the week of Aug 13-17th. Currently their are rumors that Philip Rivers might be traded. If that is the case we could be looking at a whole new Chargers team. If Rivers stays, then you face a potent offense that will try to bring it’s defense on the same page.

Game 2: San Francisco 49ers (Away) – This game is during the week of Aug 20-24th. This is always a classic matchup but this time it won’t mean as much. The 49ers will have a completely revamped team. The biggest draw in this game will be the new stadium.

Game 3: Minnesota Vikings (Home) – The week of Aug 27-30th. IF Adrian Peterson gets traded to Dallas (I still don’t think it will happen, yet….) this game will be huge. Of course, if nothing happens, this game would be a good game for the starters to show what we have in McFadden and our other RB’s.

Game 4: Houston Texans (Home) – Final preseason game on either Sept 3rd or 4th. JJ Watt might not come down on us since this is the last game. It will be interesting to hopefully see the Texans offense with a new QB and DeAndre Hopkins. If none of these things happen, its a good ole Houston vs Dallas game.
