Here we are, at the mid point of the season. Who would’ve thought the team would be 5-3? Who would’ve thought we would’ve been better or worse? Well, I for one was very pessimistic about the team this year. What I’m happy about so far is that the Cowboys have proven me wrong. What I’m not happy about is of course the Ezekiel Elliott situation, but also the tough road ahead.
Dallas is in a semi ideal spot. After beating a tough Chief’s team this past Sunday, they look the part of a contender. The defense was pretty good and the offense was efficient. But the Eagles are flying high and look unbelievably good. Also the Redskins aren’t going to be bad all season and they should get healthier. Finally, the schedule looks daunting. We face the Eagles twice, Redskins, Falcons, Chargers, Seahawks, Giants, and Raiders (in no specific order). Of course nothing is guaranteed but if you split the Eagles games, beat the Giants and Chargers, then you are in a position for the wild card spot. Below is the schedule for the rest of the season.
Let’s see what happens in the next few weeks. I know you love seeing my weekly previews too (haha). I’m going to try my best to get more posts made for us sports fans.
